INSET days and school holidays 2022-23

 

Schools allocate 5 extra days for INSET training. If convenient, we try to link with the Infant School for dates to alleviate childcare, but this isn't always possible because of different needs and requirements for training within each school.

In 2022 - 23 the Junior & Infant INSET days coincide and fall on the following dates. Due to the exceptional circumstances, these may be subject to unexpected late change, but we have commitments for training on the days so we hope there will be no changes during the year:

INSET days for academic year 2022-23

The first day of autumn term 2022 is Thursday 1st September

 

Our planned INSET days for the year starting in September 2022 are:

 

Monday 31st October

Friday 25th November

Monday 28th November

Monday 20th February 2023

Monday 19th June 2023

 

There may be a need to change these if something unexpected occurs. Please check with other neighbouring schools as INSET days are chosen by schools to meet their individual needs.

School uniform

 

Our main colour theme is bottle green and all items of uniform (except sweatshirt/cardigan with a logo) are available from major retail outlets as part of their generic offering. 

 

Grey or black school trousers or tailored school shorts

Grey or black school skirts - green checked summer dress

Sweatshirts or cardigans with or without the school logo. 

White polo (with or without logo) or white collared shirts/blouses

Sensible all-black school shoes 

 

Each child is allocated to a house and should have a sports t-shirt in the appropriate colour (red/sky blue/green/yellow. Plain t-shirts are acceptable but not with other branding.

Black or navy blue shorts for indoor gym and outdoors or jogging bottoms for outdoor sport when the weather is cold. 

Appropriate footwear for the type of activity (trainers/boots for outdoors, indoor PE is done bare-foot)

 

(Shinpads & football boots are a requirement when playing in area tournaments - we do have limited loan equipment)
