INSET days and school holidays 2020-21
Schools allocate 5 extra days for INSET training. If convenient, we try to link with the Infant School for dates to alleviate childcare, but this isn't always possible because of different needs and requirements for training within each school.
The standard Hampshire School calendar can be accessed via the link below:
In 2020-21 the Junior & Infant INSET days coincide and fall on the following dates. Due to the exceptional circumstances we are working on, these may be subject to unexpected late change, but we have commitments for training on the days so we hope there will be no changes during the year:
Friday 23rd October - Outdoor Leader training for Staff
Friday 27th November - P4C training for staff
Monday 30th November - P4C training for staff day 2
Monday 7th June 2021
Tuesday 8th June 2021
Please note that school holidays do not necessarily match those of our link secondary school, Mountbatten. Please check their website for information.

School daily timetable - temporary staggered day
In the current pandemic climate, the school day is not operating as it would normally. Although the duration of the teaching school day is the same, the actual start and end times have shifted to allow for segregation between year groups.
Once restrictions are fully lifted, we hope to be able to return to a consolidated schedule.
At the moment:
Years 5 & 6 - start between 8.35 and 8.45am with a finish at 2.55pm
Years 3 & 4 - start between 8.50 and 9 am with a finish at 3.10pm
Lunchtime has been shortened to 45 minutes.
When a consolidation of timings is allowed we will return to:
Whole school come in between 8.40 and 8.55am (start at 8.55am with registration) and finish at 3.20pm with 1 hour and 5 minutes for lunch (12.10 to 1.15pm).
