Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

Pupil premium funding is allocated by the DfE for children in one of three categories: Free School Meals, Looked after Children/Children in Care (LAC/CiC), or have been adopted from care. Whilst this may be linked to under achievement, children can equally be performing at or above year group expectation and hence the funding can be used in a number of ways. Often blocks of funding are used for initiatives which benefit wider groups of children - that way the school and a wider group of pupils benefit. Some pupils may also appear on the Special Educational Needs register, so the educational outcomes may be different and the interventions in place also may differ. Each year we review the best way forward based on the specific mix of children.
