Sporting update!

We have competed in 2 events this week! Thank you to all of the parents for their support with transporting the children. It really does make a difference.

Our first cross country race took place on Monday. We had a record breaking number of children competing which was outstanding especially in the wet weather. A huge well done to all of the runners who competed and made it through the finishing line- most smiling! I am so proud of you all!

We took first and second place in the year 3/4 boys race: well done to Theo and Jamie.

We took first place in the year3/4 girls race: well done Ella.

We also took first place in the year 5/6 race: well done Amy!

A great start to the event. Race two letter out this week!

New Age Kurling: Year 4 took part in the New Age Kurling event. It was an enjoyable event and the children represented the school brilliantly. We took part in a separate boys and girls event.

Well done to the girls who got themselves a silver medal! Overall as a school, combining both the boys and girls scores we came an impressive third out of 10 schools. Well done!

What a great start to our events this year.
