In computing, the children have been hard at work producing stop motion films based on our class reader. They have learnt how to take ‘good photos’, animate a character, use green screen, import sound effects and basic editing techniques. We are proud of what they have produced.

We ended our writing on a dramatic note, exposing the children to William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The children mapped the story: they hot-seated characters, investigated emotions and finally constructed a heartfelt monologue capturing the voice of Prince Hamlet. They had the opportunity to perform their favourite part to the class.
