Day 2

Today was one of the most exciting days of our residential! After wrestling with what felt like hundreds of wetsuits, we were finally ready to head out onto the lake for a day of sailing and kayaking.

At first, some of us felt a little nervous, but we soon found our sea legs and grew in confidence. The sailing and kayaking were great fun, and everyone showed lots of resilience as we learned new skills, worked together and challenged ourselves on the water. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and a few splashes along the way!

By the end of the session, we all felt proud of what we had achieved and couldn't stop talking about our adventures on the lake. After such a busy day, we were definitely ready to refill our energy levels at dinner.

What a fantastic way to end the day! This evening, we had the opportunity to watch an amazing falconry display, and it was truly unforgettable. The birds of prey were spectacular. Watching them soar high above us, glide effortlessly through the air and swoop down with incredible speed was fascinating.

We learned lots of interesting facts about the different birds and were amazed by their strength, skill and beauty. Seeing these magnificent creatures up close was a real highlight, and everyone was captivated by the display.

After a day spent sailing and kayaking on the lake, it was the perfect evening activity. From finding our sea legs on the water to watching these incredible birds in flight, today has been packed full of exciting experiences, new challenges and memories that we will never forget.

A Message from the Staff to Parents

As another wonderful day comes to an end, we wanted to say how proud we are of your children. They have shown great courage, resilience and enthusiasm, embracing every challenge with huge smiles and supporting one another throughout.

It has been a privilege to watch their confidence grow, their friendships flourish and their excitement for each new experience. They are making memories that will stay with them for years to come.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. They are having an amazing time, and we can't wait to share more of their adventures with you tomorrow.

With warmest wishes,
The Residential Team 💙
