Planning permission received for school expansion

Romsey Advertiser article - 20/1/17 - NBJS and NBIS expansions approved.

A reporter and photographer from the Romsey advertiser came to school to take photographs with the school council following confirmation that planning permission had been granted for a four classroom extension plus extensive groundworks and a new reception area, had been approved. Local councillor Alan Dowden called in to say hello.

The project, costing over £4 million pounds between the junior and infant school, will add 210 extra places to the schools' number on roll. Work is due to start almost immediately to ensure that there is minimum impact to the bird nesting season before a few trees need to be felled (and replaced at the end of the project).
