Latest KS2 Results

Data from 2014-15 - the last year using "Levels"

From May 2016 a new system of assessment and testing has been introduced. The data using levels is not comparable to any data derived under the levels system. However, as some pupils in the school went through KS1 (Year 2) using the levels system, we have retained this snapshot as a reference point.

The latest data from 2015 is given in "levels" - from 2016 new terminology will be used.

The expected level for a typical 7 year old at the end of Year 2 is level 2b. The expected level for a typical 11 year old at the end of Year 6 is level 4b.

Some children will make more progress and move to level 5, and a more challenging paper was available which could lead to a level 6 attainment.

Reading, writing, spelling & grammar are test results; writing is scored by teacher assessment.

The data which will be published in the 2015 performance tables for schools for North Baddesley Junior School is:

Percentage of pupils achieving level 4 or above combined in the reading and maths tests, plus the writing teacher assessment is 85%

(first pass data for Hampshire = 83%; national 80%)

Pupils achieving 2 or more levels of progress in maths = 90%

Pupils achieving 2 or more levels of progress in reading = 88%

Pupils achieving 2 or more levels of progress in writing = 90%

Pupils achieving level 5 or above in maths = 52% with 7% achieving level 6

Pupils achieving level 5 or above in reading = 58%

Pupils achieving level 5 or above in grammar, punctuation & spelling = 63% with 10% at level 6
