North Baddesley Junior School is proud to have achieved the following accreditations:

Outstanding Ofsted 2010-2011

North Baddesley Juniors is an Outstanding school (Ofsted May 2011) "Pupils are proud of their school community and make a significant contribution to its development".

ICT Logo

ICT Mark was awarded by Becta in July 2010 for "demonstrating commitment to continual improvement through ICT"

Eco Schools Logo

Eco Schools Green Flag - for outstanding achievement in sustainable development education and improving the environmental performance of the school and the wider community.Link to www.mefeedia.com/watch/28570207and see what our eco warrior has been up to in the Houses of Parliament!We will be seeking revalidation in Summer 2011.

Healthy Schools Award

Healthy Schools Award - A validation of the school's commitment to healthy lifestyles, safety and well-being, .awarded in 2004 and again in 2007.This initiative is no longer revalidated but we will continue to self review and set our objectieves using the Healthy Schools objectives.

Active Mark

Activemark -for commitment to providing all pupils with at least two hours per week of physical activity and sport, is maintained annually by the school

Artsmark Gold Award

Artsmark Gold - a coveted award which recognises creativity across and beyond the curriculum.was awarded to the school in 2007

Designmark Logo

Design Mark In 2009 we were proud to be one of the first schools to be awarded the Design Mark .This national award recognises that we demonstrate excellence in the teaching of design .Our advanced skills teacher for DT, Miss Phillips, collected the award at an event at the V&A in London.

The Silver Gilt award for S/SE in Bloom Schools was awarded July 2011 "Demonstrable use of school grounds as an outdoor classroom.The children were excellent orators and their enthusiasm was infectious. Very well done".

CPRE (Campaign for the Protection of Rural England)

In July 2009 we were awarded a CPRE plaque for our work under the Real Earth Force project.The judges commended us for our efforts to improve the Hampshire environment.

CATMARK

We were awarded the Catmark in May 2010 for commitment to involving pupils in many aspects of school life and in decisions made on their behalf. The award is assessed by other youngsters in the community.
